The McLaren Vale region has a proud history of producing some of the best Shiraz, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon wines in Australia. Shottesbrooke create estate grown wines from all these varieties. To sit alongside these fine examples of Australia’s best red wines, Shottesbrooke have added a light bodied dry red Rosé and two excellent white wines – a classic McLaren Vale Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc from the Adelaide Hills.

Produced only in years of exceptional quality, in limited quantities, the Reserve wines epitomise the Shottesbrooke brand. The philosophy with these exceptional wines is to produce a reserve that is entirely reliable in style. Shottesbrooke looks for big fruit flavours supported with fresh new oak, generous extraction balanced with fruit, acid and tannin with cellaring potential of at least 10 years. The reserve wines are our benchmark of these varieties and are named in acknowledgment of the contribution of the early pioneers of viticulture in McLaren Vale.
