VINEYARDS
The warm Mediterranean climate of McLaren Vale produces generous wine full of intense ripe fruit flavours and body.
The soil types on our McLaren Flat vineyard range from sandy loam on the slopes to deep loam on the flats along the creek bed. At McLaren Flat we grow Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Shiraz.

The importance of balancing production with vine vigour is paramount. Minimal irrigation (only in drought conditions) and mulching and minimal tillage ensures soil structure and moisture conservation is optimised.
Planting of native species as windbreaks and wood lots, assist in stabilizing soils and also provides habit for native birds and animals. Our objective is to produce the best possible quality with minimal environmental impact.
